The WG-DRFP-1.0 is a configurable user interface, narrow band front-end down converter with on board DSP and programmable logic to preprocess the baseband information.

WG-DRFP-1.0 is a Digital Radio Front-end Processor. Since WG-DRFP-1.0 can be tuned to required band it achieves smaller system design.

The RF input is sampled by an ADC at a rate of up to 80 MSPS with 14-bit resolution. This ADC output is down converted and filtered by a DDC to required base band output.

The various DDC parameters like NCO frequency, decimation rates of the filters, anti aliasing features and output word length etc. can be set by the Host Computer.

The IQ base band output of DDC is processed using FPGA and DSP. This processed data can either be sent to onboard analog output channels or to a Host computer for any higher end computations. The required interface for data transfer includes PCI, RS422, USB/ Fiber Optics and LAN depending upon the custom requirement.
